In Greensboro College's production of Starting Here, Starting Now, directed by Perry Morgan, I served as the light designer. This show required the use of 10 LED PAR 64's and 40 various halogen lighting instruments. Many of the cues within this show required the use of specific timing to allow the lights to follow the actors within the small 3/4 black box theatre. This show also required many different "specials" to be used to provide focus on the actors who were singing solos and needed to be isolated from the rest of the stage. This became a challenge with the lack of availbe dimmers and lighting fixtures to provide an even wash across the stage while maintaining the requested specials. I also was responsible for the installation of the pneumatic brake system within the piano platform.
