In Greensboro College's production of Mamma Mia directed by Josephine Hall, I served as the sound designer and engineer. This show required the use of 26 of the 32 channels on the Yamaha M7CL to be dedicated to the use of microphones, instruments, and computers. With the use of rental equipment, every priciple character was able to have their own dedicated mic pack that did not need to be handed off during the shows. The use of live video feed monitors was also required backstage left and right. These monitors were provided to allow actors to receive visual cues from the musical director who was located within the pit.
